Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) are investigating after a number of vehicles in an area concentrated south of Lincoln Park were found to have broken windows between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Many, but not all, had contents stolen.
The vehicles were parked in the area of 1100-1200 South Carolina Ave SE, along the 200 blocks of 12th and 13th Street SE, and on Walter St SE and C Street SE.
Police say that video surveillance footage from the area would be particularly useful, and urge anyone with video to please contact MPD.
