Police from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) First District are investigating an Assault with Intent to Kill that happened on Sunday evening.
At 8:25 p.m. Sunday, police were called to a residence on the 1400 block of First Street SW. There they located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.
They man said that he was shot by an unknown person while riding his bicycle on the 1400 block of First Street SW. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
At this time there is no lookout.
