Patrick’s Pet Care now offers dog walking and in-home pet sitting in the H Street Corridor Area. Services became available as of June 4. The service area will cover the communities south of Florida Avenue, east of Union Station and north of Eastern Market.
“We will start with our dog-walking and pet-sitting programs because there’s been a lot of requests for them from the H Street area,“ said company founder and general manager Patrick Flynn.
The company also offers small and large dog day care centers, specialized boarding, small animal and dog boarding, and a dog day school as well as private dog training classes. A pet-friendly customized van is available to transport pets to and from home, to the groomer or vet and to the airport. Services are available to multi-unit residential complexes through the company’s concierge referral program.
Patrick’s Pet Care serves the Northwest, Southwest and Northeast areas of the District. Since its inception six years ago it has grown exponentially, and their commitment to environmentally sound practices recently earned the company recognition as an Employer Ambassador by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) for its fleet of electric bikes available to employees.
Readers of the Washington City Paper voted Patrick’s Pet Care Best of DC for 2017 and 2018. The company was recently accepted as an inaugural member of the Georgetown Venture Lab at Georgetown University.
