The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Fifth District is implementing a new initiative to support the stronger relationship between officers and the community.
Once a week, each of the Fifth District’s Sector Captains will designate a date, time and location that their Patrol Service Area (PSA) officers will be available for the community to come out and meet them. Community members can bring their concerns directly to the officers. Casual conversation is also strongly encouraged as this will only increase the relationship. The days of the week, locations and times will change weekly to make it easy on the community to participate. Each meet and greet will be announced on our list serve.
The below dates, times and locations have been selected for the week of March 18 -24, 2018:
- Sector 1, PSA 502 – Tuesday, March 20, 4:00 PM: 600 block of Edgewood Street NE
