Can’t get away to New Orleans this Mardi Gras? Celebrate Fat Tuesday at The Wharf with a Wharf-wide extravaganza featuring a spirited parade along the waterfront, followed by a dance party on District Pier, and a fireworks finale.

The parade will be set to the sounds of classic NOLA brass band music and feature custom-designed floats from friends, restaurants and retailers, along with high-flying balloons and of course, bead tossing. Plus, festive food and drink will be available throughout the neighborhood at all the hangouts in honor of Mardi Gras.

So brush up on your bead catching skills and get ready to party the night away!

Schedule of Events:

  • 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Mardi Gras Parade (starts at Seventh Street and travels along Wharf Street to District Pier)
  • 6:30 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.: Dance Party at District Pier (With beer sales available!)
  • 7:50 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Fireworks Finale

Plus, during the parade, all spectators are invited to be judges, too! Vote for your favorite float as they roll down the waterfront (starting at 6p.m.) by texting the number of your favorite float to 501-302-2125. Each phone is eligible to vote twice. Floats designed by tenants and friends of The Wharf will be numbered 1 to 16.
