Shop Local and enjoy a traveling wine tasting throughout Capitol Hill stores from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, December 4th with the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce (CHAMPS), who are hosting this holiday event.
This is how it works: pick up your map of participating shops and a glass (supplies limited, arrive early!) at the 6 p.m. kick off at Realignment Studio (641 Pennsylvania Ave SE).
Then, have a festive time doing your holiday shopping along the merrily decorated shops of Capitol Hill, all the while partaking of a little sip of holiday cheer. Cross the names off your shopping list as you greet your neighbors in the streets and shops of Capitol Hill.
The kick-off begins at 6 p.m. at Realignment Studio (641 Pennsylvania Ave. SE) with a toast from Councilmember Charles Allen, a small bite courtesy of Joselito Casa de Comidas, and a chance to check out the pop-up marketplace before you head out to sip and shop your way around the neighborhood.
This year’s list of participating shops has only gotten longer and includes Hill’s Kitchen, Clothes Encounters, DCanter, Groovy, East City Book Shop, Hill Center, Howl to the Chief, Labyrinth, Summit to Soul, Dawn Price Baby, a pop-up marketplace at Realignment Studio and more.
