Frager’s Hardware (1323 E St. SE) will have a Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday October 14th. Come in your costumes, and join the parade! The festival will include food, family activities and more.
The day kicks off with a pumpkin carving and painting contest. Contestants buy the pumpkins and Frager’s provides the materials to make the gourds unique. Prizes will be awarded to pumpkins rated Best in Show in both children’s and adult categories.
At noon, there will be a Costume Parade and trick-or-treating for children and pets. There are prizes in children and adult categories for Best Costume.
At 1 p.m. there will be a do-it-yourself demo table, where you can learn how to build a skeleton out of PVC pipe, a durable decoration that can be displayed outside at Halloween for years to come.
There will also be a fall photobooth with a festive background. Take a photo of your prize-winning costumes or a memorable family portrait, and download it for free.
Frager’s will serve complimentary warm apple cider and popcorn throughout the afternoon, and the hardware store says even more festival fun is yet to be announced.
The Frager’s Fall Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Frager’s Hardware, 1323 E St. SE.
