The DC Bar Pro Bono Center, the DC Small Business Development Center Network and the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development are presenting the How the Law Impacts Your Small Business: A Business Law Training Series for Small Business Owners. This is an eight part course for existing small business owners, including sole proprietors, business partnerships, general managers and owners of LLCs. Participants will learn the basics of employment law, risk management, contracts, joint ventures and accounting from experienced business attorneys from Winston & Strawn. The course will begin on Monday, Sept. 25 and will continue for the following seven consecutive Monday evenings. Register at dcbar.org/marketplace.
